How the math works
A regular Sprinkler waters 4 adjacent tiles, a Quality Sprinkler waters the surrounding 8 tiles, and an Iridium Sprinkler waters 24 surrounding tiles. The calculator multiplies each count by its coverage and adds the results.
Layout still matters
The result is theoretical coverage. Overlap, paths, scarecrows, buildings and irregular field shapes can reduce the number of useful crop tiles in a real layout.
