Strength-focused builds are built around heavy melee pressure, high-impact weapon choices and enough survivability to stay effective at close range. The goal is not simply to push Strength as high as possible; the full build still needs Vigor, Endurance and equipment that work together.
Core priorities
- Vigor: keep enough health to survive mistakes while learning bosses.
- Strength: meet weapon requirements first, then invest further when it meaningfully improves the setup.
- Endurance: support stamina use and the equipment load required by heavier weapons and armor.
- Utility stats: only add them when they unlock something the build actually uses.
Weapon choice
Start with a weapon family you enjoy rather than choosing only by a damage chart. Large weapons often reward deliberate timing and good positioning, while faster Strength-compatible options can be easier in encounters with short punish windows.
Armor and equipment load
Heavy gear can support the playstyle, but mobility still matters. If your equipment load makes dodging uncomfortable, reduce weight or add enough Endurance to restore a movement profile that feels reliable.
Boss adjustment
When a boss is giving you trouble, change one variable at a time: survivability, weapon reach, attack speed, damage type, talisman setup or equipment load. That makes it easier to identify what is actually improving the fight.
